We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and kittens in need
About us
We are a small scale rescue who rely on a network of foster homes to care for our animals until they are adoption ready. We mainly rescue cats and kittens who are strays on the street or abandoned/dumped animals. Our cats are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, worm and flea treated before being rehomed.
By doing this we ensure there are no “accidental litters” which contribute to the thousands of cats and kittens that are put to sleep every year. We are mainly based in South Australia but we have rescue contacts in Victoria as well.
Cats and kittens are our specialty (especially our ginger friends!) however we occasionally have dogs, puppies, rabbits, rats and birds.
Foster carers are always welcomed.
Our mission
Responsible cat ownership
Keeping a cat indoors protects them from common dangers such as cars, dog attacks, diseases from other animals, and becoming lost or stolen. Indoor cats are less likely to suffer injuries, live longer, and avoid hunting our precious Australian wildlife.
By creating a stimulating home environment with toys, scratching posts, and safe spaces, you can keep your cat happy and healthy.
In-home foster care
An in-home foster program provides rescue cats with a safe, loving environment where they can begin to heal and adjust to life as a companion animal. Living in a home setting helps cats develop social skills, build trust with people, and adapt to everyday household routines, making the transition to adoption smoother.
It also allows carers to provide individualised attention and monitor each cat’s behaviour and health closely. By offering a comfortable, low-stress space outside of a shelter environment, in-home fostering greatly improves a cat’s wellbeing and increases their chances of finding the perfect forever home.
Full circle desexing
Full circle desexing is a proactive approach to reducing unwanted litters and improving cat welfare in the community. Where possible we will desex mum at no cost to the member of the public.
It ensures that every cat adopted the rescue is desexed before leaving care, preventing future breeding and helping to break the cycle of stray and abandoned cats.
This method not only supports responsible pet ownership but also reduces the strain on rescue organisations and shelters, creating a long-term solution to cat overpopulation.
Rehabilitation
We specialise in rescue and rehabilitation. A lot of common diseases can be treated with appropriate and timely vet care. Many rescue cats have faced neglect, abandonment, or trauma, and may need time to build trust and confidence. By specialising in providing quality care and working closely with a veterinarian, we ensure each cat receives the medical treatment, tailored nutrition, and behavioural support they need. Through gentle handling, consistent routines, and positive socialisation, they learn to feel safe and secure again. Ready for their new homes!
